Broadcast Portal

The heart of the MediaTile solution is the Broadcast Portal. The MediaTile Broadcast Portal is the centralized command center that gives absolute control over your very own commercial network.

With just a few simple clicks, you can upload your content, define play lists, and create schedules that directly control thousands of in-field players and reach millions of consumers.

Whether you deploy ten, one hundred, or one thousand MediaTile Players the system automatically controls and manages what get delivered to each player, and when it plays.

Infocaster Network Manager

Network Manager defines which Player(s) the presentation is intended for and when it needs to arrive. The Network Manager then publishes the necessary files to a specified File Server location (such as a high bandwidth server) and notifies the specific Player(s) to retrieve modified presentations from the File Server.

Network Manager and File Server are bundled together. Network Manager software is installed. A Network Manager software can be installed on a Workstation system or on a separate PC system. In addition, the File Server software that comes with Network Manager can also installed on the same or separate system.

Using a single Network Manager (and File Server), a single person can control an entire local or global digital signage network. Defining Player groups in Network Manager allows complete control over localized presentations. Each group of players can be viewed as a separate Digital Signage Network, or simply as a variation of network-wide presentation.

Network Manager and File Server use LAN and Internet (TCP/IP) connections to control Player systems and distribute project content. High speed (broadband) connections such as cable and DSL provide faster project distribution, though any standard LAN or Internet connection will work.

For maximum flexibility, Network Manager and File Server can each be individually installed on a Workstation system, on a single dedicated system or on physically separate servers located anywhere in the world.

Network Manager distributes content to groups of Player systems installed for use with either Composite S-Video, Progressive VGA or SDI (Serial Digital Interface) environments. Each group can use a different video format.

Content Creation

Centrally create and edit all of your InfoCaster projects including page layout, content and schedule using InfoCaster Workstation.

Workstation also includes a single video output for use as either a live display system or as a preview before publishing to your signage network.

A Workstation system is either an Inscriber turnkey system or a third party PC with the InfoCaster Workstation software and appropriate video card installed.

A single Workstation connected with a LAN or Internet connection can be used to create and edit any number of InfoCaster projects in any video output format. Each project can use unique, similar or identical page layout, content and schedules. Thus Workstation is used to design or modify content for your Digital Signage Network. Or it can be used to sell Digital Signage projects to other companies using Player Networks that require work to be outsourced.

When creating and editing projects, use Workstations video output channel as a preview before distribution. It can also be used as a live display at any time.

Workstation systems can be installed for use with either Composite S-Video, Progressive VGA or SDIv(Serial Digital Interface) environments. However, Workstation systems can create content for groups of Players systems in any video format.
